Thousands of North Koreans have gathered for a rally to celebrate the country's rocket launch.
North Korea defied international warnings and went ahead with the controversial launch on Sunday.
State media said a satellite had been put into orbit and was transmitting data and revolutionary songs. The US said the attempt failed.
