North Korea has released what is believed to be the first video footage of leader Kim Jong-il taken since he apparently suffered a stroke.

The country's state TV aired a one-hour documentary which they said detailed Mr Kim's visits to various factories and other places across the country between November and December 2008. These dates cannot be independently verified.

BBC News presenter Jon Sopel described the footage.
