A Russian Soyuz manned spacecraft is due to launch from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, the world's largest and oldest operational space launch facility.
The Soyuz TMA craft will travel to the International Space Station. Three crew members will be on board including American billionaire space tourist Charles Simonyi.
