The youngest son of former President Suharto of Indonesia has gone to court to appeal against a 15-year prison conviction for murder and possession of firearms. Tommy Suharto was jailed last July for ordering the contract killing of a Supreme Court judge who had earlier sentenced him to jail for corruption.
Mr Suharto appeared in court in the town of Cilacap in Central Java close to the top-security Nusakambangan island prison where he is being held.
His lawyers say they will be presenting new evidence in support of his appeal.
