US President Barack Obama is due in Wall Street to make the case for wide ranging reforms of the banking system.
He's due to make a speech on Thursday at the Cooper Union college near the financial district, and will call for "swift Senate action" and "remind the American people what is at stake".
Meanwhile, the President is continuing his push to get legislation through congress by next month in the face of opposition from Republican senators.
Michelle Fleury reports.
