The former Republican vice-presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, has been speaking at the first national meeting of the Tea Party - a new US political movement which is seeking to rally opposition to President Obama.
The organisation claims to be a grass roots movement - without any clearly defined leadership - although it appears to be most attractive to conservative Americans.
