Sarah Palin to head Tea Party convention

Sarah Palin, the former Republican vice-presidential candidate, is set the star at the first national Tea Party convention which is to be held in Nashville.

The Tea Party Movement takes its name from the historic Boston Tea Party, a protest against British taxation more than 200 years ago.

It is currently enjoying a high profile battling against Barack Obama's Democratic administration.
