US vows to step up Haiti efforts

A week after the devastating earthquake that hit the city, the charity Medecins Sans Frontieres says five flights have been stopped from landing at Port au Prince in the past five days.

American officials say they are stepping up relief efforts and are preparing two other airfields for aid operations.

Meanwhile the UN says at least 120 people have now been rescued by international teams.
