EU ministers meet for Haiti talks

International efforts to gather and distribute aid to Haiti have stepped up as patience begins to fray in the quake-hit country.

EU ministers are meeting to discuss how to co-ordinate their part in the operation, while US President Obama has authorised an order allowing reserve forces to be called up to help distribute supplies.
