US President Barack Obama has vowed that his country will do what it can to help victims suffering "heartbreaking" losses after Tuesday's earthquake in Haiti.
Mr Obama described the scale of devastation in the Caribbean nation as "extraordinary" and warned there would be "many difficult days ahead".
