Haitian president speaks of sadness

Haiti's President Rene Preval has spoken to reporters at Port-au-Prince airport, which he visited to see the progress of the aid operation.

The president said he was ''very sad'' but also pleased with the world's response to Haiti's ''great difficulty''.
