US President Barack Obama says he is more interesting in fixing the failures which lead to the failed Christmas Day attack than in assigning blame.
His words came as a Detroit court prepared to begin hearing the trial of the man charged with the attack, 23-year-old Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.
