Gaddafi: 'There was no deal'

Libyan leader Colonel Gaddafi has denied there was any "deal" involved in the release of convicted Lockerbie bomber Abdelbasset Ali al-Megrahi.

Gaddafi said that illness was the only reason for the release, during an interview with Al Jazeera in New York recorded on Thursday.
