Former student 'had $7,000 healthcare bill'

Travis Roberts is a former student from Rhode Island who had a heart operation when he was 23.

Even though he was covered under his parents' insurance, he was still landed with a bill for $7,000.

The lesson, he told the BBC's World Today programme, is that even with healthcare, you are not safe in the US.
