Clinton: Megrahi release would be 'wrong'

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has urged Scotland's justice secretary not to free the man convicted of the Lockerbie bombing.

The Scottish government is considering whether Abdelbaset Ali al-Megrahi, who has terminal cancer, should be allowed to return to Libya on compassionate grounds.

Mrs Clinton said releasing him would be "absolutely wrong".
