Asian stocks rattled by US falls

Asian stock markets have fallen sharply amid renewed fears over the health of the global financial sector.

It comes as Japan's Prime Minister, Taro Aso prepares to become the first foreign leader to meet President Obama at the White House.

President Obama will also give his first highly anticipated speech to a joint session of Congress where he will defend his multi-billion dollar economic stimulus package.
