When a community near Los Angeles was ordered to leave their homes as devastating wildfires swept through the area, resident John Rauber decided to wait out the blaze at home with his neighbour, a former firefighter.
He filmed the scene from his roof, capturing the inferno as it surrounded the suburb of Yorba Linda. The fire bypassed his part of town.
