McCain's 'underdog' joke

John McCain has thanked Hillary Clinton for supporting him at a good natured white-tie charity dinner.

Both McCain and Barack Obama swapped their usual campaign jibes for self-deprecating jokes and tongue-in-cheek banter at the fundraising event in New York.
