"Since first meeting Sly I noticed a very calming and relaxed air about him - most people who've worked with him will tell you that's a great asset when working under the intense pressures of studio recording.
Some of the biggest reggae classics to date have been played by Sly & Robbie together as the Riddim Twins. Sly has also played a big part of shaping world music as a whole from rock to reggaeton.
Sly Dunbar is truly a black music icon.. even if he wouldn't say so himself! Respect due SLY DUNBAR." Robbo Ranx

Drummer and super producer Sly Dunbar's career spans over 40 years. Alongside Robbie Shakespeare the Riddim Twins have been the most influential drum and bass rhythm section, responsible for crafting more reggae hits that any other producers in the history of Jamaican music.

Robbo meets King Jammy
"King Jammy has to be credited as the producer who kick started the whole dancehall movement during the mid-eighties.
The impact of his label changed the climate of reggae and propelled dancehall to the top of the reggae scene." Robbo Ranx

Robbo catches up with the legendary producer, engineer and soundman, King Jammy, who picked up where Coxsonne and King Tubby left off.

His sound system ran the Jamaica dancehall scene in the 80s breaking artists like Shabba Ranks, Admiral Bailey, Bounty Killer and Beenie Man. His studio produced the most innovative hits that shaped the Jamaican music scene.
