My wife and I flew for 24 hours to be here. We regard Obama as a president from the Pacific because he grew up in Hawaii and Indonesia.

There's a lot of support for Obama in Papua New Guinea. They'll all be watching and I just hope the president will shake hands with me, with my flag.
