Linda Bulloch, 44, and Tom Coyle, seven, from Burnside, unfurled a Motherwell flag as the funeral cortege passed.

Ms Bulloch said: "I'm here to give Tom an understanding of Phil O'Donnell, who he met when he was a mascot a few weeks ago.

"He'll never be forgotten. I'm sure there will be a fitting tribute."
