Dame Helen Mirren, 61, wore a champagne-coloured Christian LaCroix gown with a lace bodice.

She called the gown, which featured gold-leaf embroidery on the skirt and a plunging V-neck, her "dream dress."

She said: "It makes me feel comfortable. I don't feel like I'm trying to be something I'm not."
