US President George W Bush is in Vietnam for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum.

Mr Bush has a long journey from his hotel in northern Hanoi to the summit venue in the city's south.

He will pass a number of sites which may make him reflect on recent US-Vietnam relations, from their bitter war to new hopes of partnership.
