The union's survey also found that about half those questioned did not know farmers often get paid very little for milk, giving supermarkets "unfair" profits.

Kristina Broomfield, 20, told BBC Wales she thought the price of a pint of milk was about 60p, but didn't really know because "people buy larger litre cartons or bottles now".
