Helen Hamlyn Research Centre (HHRC) student Matthew White worked on a project with B&Q to come up with power tools that could be used by older people with reduced grip.

One of the designs was the "Sandbug" sander which users guide by palm rather than having to hold a handle.

This design was subsequently manufactured by B&Q.
