Hendri is 11 years old. He had just finished primary school when the tsunami washed away his home, his family and his school.

His aunt in Malaysia asked him to live with her, but he refused. So she moved to Lampuuk.

"He needs guidance from a mother," she said, "and with his mum gone, I must stay and be a parent to him now."
