'Saving coppers'

Jennie Newberry, 86, will see her flat at Neville Sadler Court demolished.

She says the tram planners were simply "saving a few coppers" by using "the quickest way through".

She says: "Someone's gone up in plane, looked down, and thought 'that's a good route'.

"They've not thought about people's feelings."
