The Tanzanian riggers who install equipment on the top of mobile base stations are highly trained engineers.

Many learn their skills overseas, in places such as China, and work at sites in remote areas across Tanzania.

"It's a dangerous job, but we take safety seriously," says Tanzanian installation firm Maktech.
