Infighting between Tony Blair and Gordon Brown has put cross-party consensus on pensions reform at risk, the Conservatives have claimed. Government proposals include restoring the link between pensions from earnings from about 2012.
Tory spokesman Philip Hammond said Mr Brown had insisted on a "get out clause" which allowed the switch to be delayed after the next election.
But he welcomed most of the plans, aimed at encouraging people to save.
