'This runway will not get built'

London Mayor Boris Johnson has criticised the government's decision to give the go-ahead to a third runway at Heathrow airport.

He has promised to mount a legal challenge against it claiming it would "greatly increase traffic" and would erode "the quality of life for hundreds of thousands of Londoners".
