Your pictures: Water across the world

As part of our series of special features on water we're asking you to send us your pictures from around the world depicting the importance of the vital resource to your area.China, India, Africa and the Middle East are all among key areas where access to water and irrigation are central to people's daily lives, as well as directly affecting the political landscape of the regions.

How to submit a picture
To e-mail your picture to us, send it to [email protected].
If you want to send your picture from your mobile phone, dial +44 7970 885089. You can send them from any network or phone. Please send the large full size images (usually 640x480 pixels) taken by the mobiles otherwise they are too small to publish.
Don't forget to include your name and some background information as to what the image is about, as this will increase your chances of selection.
If you submit an image, you do so in accordance with the BBC's Terms and Conditions.
