Ingredients making Sangin so lethal

Sangin 'grim place' for UK troops

No fewer than six British soldiers have died in Sangin, in northern Afghanistan, in the past week.

Military commanders have said the deaths are not the work of Taliban fighters displaced by Operation Moshtarak in the south of the country.

Mark Urban has just returned from Sangin, where he was based with UK soldiers serving there.

Broadcast on Monday 8 March 2010.
