1968



The 1968 is remembered as a year for protests around the world, most memorably in Paris and the US.

But police files obtained by the BBC reveal that while the student demonstrations in the UK were much smaller in scale, they were no less worrying to the British establishment.

Newsnight's Paul Mason reports.
