US actors Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson are among the stars lined up to present trophies at next week's Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Burt Reynolds and Denis Leary have also joined the bill to present a lifetime achievement award to veteran character actor Charles Durning.

Sean Penn's road trip movie Into the Wild leads the field with a total of four nominations.

The 14th annual awards ceremony will be held in Los Angeles on 27 January.

McConaughey, who announced on Tuesday that he is expecting a baby with his girlfriend, Camila Alves, has starred in two films with Hudson.

They both appeared in the romantic comedy How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and the upcoming movie Fool's Gold.

Other presenters at ceremony include Zac Efron, Emile Hirsch and Vanessa Williams.
