Two churches vandalised in week
Vandals have extensively damaged two churches in the space of a few days.

More than 20 windows were smashed at St Mary's Church on Little Church Lane in Sileby at some time on Tuesday.

Then on Thursday, four youths were seen throwing bricks at Christ Church on Rothley Road in Mountsorrel before damaging a headstone in the grounds.

Two of the youths are described as being aged between 14 and 15, one of them was wearing a cream coloured coat and the other was wearing a tracksuit.

Police say the vandalism has caused significant damage and upset.
