The man arrested on suspicion of murdering school teacher Jane Longhurst has been re-arrested by Sussex Police. Graham Coutts, 35, from Hove, was arrested on Monday evening and taken to the custody suite at Brighton for questioning.
He was previously released on police bail by detectives on Friday after being arrested on Thursday night at his flat in Waterloo Street.
Mr Coutts, a musician, has not been officially named by police.
The body of Miss Longhurst, 31, originally from Reading, was discovered at Wiggonholt Common in Pulborough, West Sussex, on 19 April.
Pupils back at school
She had disappeared from her home in Brighton on 14 March.
An appeal on the BBC's Crimewatch programme for help in catching Miss Longhurst's killer was cancelled by Sussex Police on Tuesday.
Senior detectives had planned to make a national appeal for information on the programme on Wednesday night.
Detective Chief Inspector Steve Dennis from Sussex Police said the arrested man had been questioned before by police, at the time Miss Longhurst went missing.
On Saturday police stopped more than 700 motorists near where Miss Longhurst's body was found.
Pupils at the special needs school where Miss Longhurst taught, Uplands School in the Hollingdean area of Brighton, were returning to class on Tuesday for the first time since her body was found.
A team of educational psychologists have been at the school to help pupils and teachers deal with her death.
