Murder hunt birthday appeal
Paul Brown
Paul Brown is the only person who has not been traced from the pub
The mother of man who was murdered in Kent on New Year's Eve has appealed for information about his death on what would have been his 30th birthday.

Marco Schiroli died from stab wounds following a disturbance outside the Vineyard pub in Maidstone Road, Rochester.

Police have already issued a photo of 36-year-old Paul Brown who they want to speak to in connection with the murder.

On Wednesday Pam Schiroli said: "This would have been a milestone birthday for him. Marco always said he would have kids and settle down by the time he was 33. I will never see those grandchildren now."

"I will have good days and bad days, but it will be hard on a day that was so special to Marco.

"I understand the police officers investigating Marco's murder are keen to speak Paul Brown.

"If anyone knows where he is, please contact the police. Think about what has happened. I can't get Marco back but I can move on."

Detective Chief Inspector Dean Barnes, leading the investigation said: "There is only one man at the pub that night whom we have yet to trace. He is Paul Brown, aged 36. We know he has contacts in this area and his family live in Norfolk."
