Faces of education
boy
Jack is in the last year of his primary school, St. Joseph's, in Lichfield, Staffordshire.

Critics of the national tests, known as Sats, often say they can lead to too much pressure on children, but Jack is not worried about them.

Hi I'm Jack. I'm 10 years old and I've just done my first exciting few weeks in Year 6!

I've lots of hobbies. My favourites are running for a club, football for a Saturday team and rugby.

I like to play the guitar, especially songs by Jimi Hendrix, and to skateboard in my spare time.

Futher on in the year I shall be doing my Sats which at the moment I am not too concerned about, but what I am looking forward to is going to Standon Bowyers an outdoor activity centre when our Sats are over.

My favourite subjects are geography and PE. I do not dislike any subjects.

I am very excited about going to King Edwards secondary school next year although a bit nervous at the same time.
