The former chairman of HBOS Lord Stevenson of Coddenham and the former chairman RBS Sir Tom McKillop have said they are 'profoundly sorry' for the distress caused by the banking crisis.
The former bank executives were giving evidence to the Treasury select committee as part of its inquiry into the banking crisis.
