Former bankers grilled by MP

Treasury Committee Chairman John McFall has interrogated the former bosses of RBS and HBOS over safeguarding customer's money.

Mr McFall asked former chairman of HBOS Lord Stevenson of Coddenham, former chief executive of HBOS Andy Hornby and the former chairman of Royal Bank of Scotland Sir Tom McKillop whether their companies had lived up to the dictionary definition of a bank.
