The Semi-Final will take place at BBC Hoddinott Hall, Cardiff. The five category winners will perform in front of a panel of adjudicators and audience.

The Semi-Final will be recorded for broadcast on BBC TWO.

You will perform the same programme as the Category Final. The programme should not exceed 20 minutes, including tuning breaks and breaks between movements. Your time starts when you enter the concert hall. A piano will be provided for accompanists: no other instrument will be provided as an accompanying instrument.

Three competitors will be selected to go through to the BBC Young Musician 2010 Final.
