The local organising committee for the Africa Cup of Nations in Angola, COCAN, has admitted they are holding an enquiry into the attack on the Togo team bus before the tournament started.

Three people were killed in the ambush in Cabinda province and Togo withdrew from the Cup of Nations as a result. COCAN has also admitted that officials in Cabinda did know the Togolese party had decided to travel by road.
