Q: Will I be able to hear the show after the broadcast date?
A: Yes! You can listen again at bbcworldservice.com and click on radio player.

All programmes are available on demand for up to seven days after their first broadcast date.

Q: Does music submitted have to be any particular genre?
A: No, anything goes. But it must be 1. original and 2. written and performed by the artist(s) submitting the track

Q: So where will the final show actually be broadcast?
A: On the BBC World Service Radio, on 13 December (the time depends on where you are listening around the world). You'll also be able to hear it online. BBC World TV will also be airing a programme with highlights from the final.

Q: What if I want to enter twice, once in a band and once as a solo artists or another band?
A: You can if you want, that is, if you think you're good enough!

Q: If we are one of the longlisted bands, what happens next?
A: The longlist of the best 20 is posted online. If you are shortlisted for the final we'll be in touch about the possibility of getting you to London.

Q: What happens if we're not longlisted? Do we still get to hear/read the professionals opinions about our band?
A: We won't be able to publish every comment the judges make, but we'll do our best to put up as many as possible.

Q: Will I be able to find a link to all the entered bands/artist's music online?
A: We'll put up as much as we can, but even the BBC doesn't have unlimited storage space.
