 | Dear What’s the Problem
I am a 24 year old student. My problem is that I seem to have a slow absorption rate when I study and also have poor analytical skills. Please help me out.

You need to learn some simple study skills in order to take away the fear of studying and the stress of exams. To begin with, don’t write things down word-for-word. Concentrate on listening and understanding, and only write down key words and phrases. Go back to your notes afterwards and re-write them more fully. This will help to keep the information in your mind and make it easier to recall during exams, and it will also make you aware of areas you are unsure about, in which case, you can discuss these with your tutor. Don’t be afraid to admit you don’t understand something. Your tutors are there to help.
