Weeks after the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti, some remarkable and inspirational stories are emerging.

Stories of luck, courage, endurance and almost superhuman dedication.

One of these involves Jean Paul Coffy. He's a Haitian working as a musician in Chicago's South Side.

Like many other Haitian ex-pats he was desperate for news about his family after the quake struck, but lines of communication had been destroyed.

Jean Paul decided he could not just sit and wait and began an extraordinary journey to find his mum and dad.
