Halloween
Thursday, November 1, 2007
Presenters: Callum Robertson
Guests: Staff and students of EC Brighton

Programme Summary We visit the coastal town of Brighton and meet staff and students at one of the language schools there. We discuss the topic of Halloween. Now seen as a very commercial holiday for children, particularly in North America, its origins date back thousands of years to the Pagan festival of Samhain in parts of Scotland, Wales and Ireland. We also chat about horror films and find out whether we believe in ghosts or not.
