George Best has died at the age of 59. His lifestyle ended his career suddenly. Later on his health also became a problem and he suffered an addiction to alcohol. He had a liver transplant in 2002 but began drinking again soon after. This report from Kevin Gearey: George Best had a rare ability to make the ball do his bidding. Best was named European Footballer of the Year, and the young man dubbed "the fifth Beatle" took football into the realms of showbiz.
