| | | 'I'm rich!' says Robbie after record deal
If Robbie Williams only sings when he's winning he'll be in great voice at the moment. That's because record company EMI will give Robbie £80m and in return he has to make four albums.
He spoke to journalists on Wednesday afternoon and at first didn't want to talk about the money.
But then he clenched his fists and screamed: "I'm rich. I'm rich beyond my wildest dreams!"
The ex-Take That star won't get all the cash at once, but the deal is still the biggest ever in Britain. Robbie's reported to have told EMI they have to make him a big star in America.
The deal is the second biggest in the history of music - after Michael Jackson - and Robbie's first release will be the album Escapology, out in November.
