World Food Crisis

The UN has convened a meeting that aims to tackle the worst effects of high food prices.

Although these have fallen from the peaks seen a year ago, they remain highly unstable and have a disproportionate effect on those in poorer countries.

Ministers and officials from around 100 countries have gathered in Madrid, Spain for the talks.

The head of the UN food task force Dr David Nabarro, says that the answer to the problem lies with the world's millions of small farmers
