Rokia Traore is an award-winning Malian singer, songwriter and guitarist.
She is fiercely proud of what she calls her modernity, her openness to new things, and she wants to support other young Malian musicians that see themselves in the same way.
Martin Vogl reports from Bamako on the progress of the initiative Rokia Traore has started up - the Foundation Passerelle.
